Our annual PPP - Paihia Placemaking Project - PAIHIA CBD MAINTENANCE BEE is an excellent opportunity to give something back to this great place we live in. We all know that it takes a little teamwork to keep Paihia looking so good, and it is this time of year when we like to have a 'tickle up' around the place before getting into the lively summer season.
Please come and join the FOCUS PAIHIA VOLUNTEERS. BRING ALONG YOUR KIDS TO GIVE THEM WORK EXPERIENCE TO HELP THE COMMUNITY. Work to be done is gardening, including weeding, spreading of bark and shells, and a general tidy up of gardens, a small amount of staining, furniture cleaning, and general maintenance.

PLEASE BRING if you have… Gardening gloves and tools Buckets and soft brushes for furniture cleaning Wheelbarrows, rakes and shovels for bark and shell spreading Paint brushes and rags.
Please wear appropriate footwear, wear a hat, slap on some sunscreen, and bring your own water bottle. ANY HOME BAKING to accompany our well-loved COFFEE BREAK would also be greatly appreciated for our hard-working VOLUNTEERS. If you would like to contribute in this way, please deliver to SALT AIR (opposite the Village Green) on the day. These contributions are always so gratefully received! Please label your offering so that we know who to thank. Please bring your own REUSABLE CUP to reduce waste.
